Fairfield Christian Academy is the only school with a chapter of Mu Alpha Theta in Fairfield County. To have a chapter, schools must offer Algebra, Geometry and at least one higher level mathematics course. The school must have a teacher whose primary education was in mathematics including calculus. That teacher at Fairfield Christian Academy is Rita Ralph. Fairfield Christian Academy offers Pre-Calculus, Calculus and Statistics as the higher level courses. In order to be eligible for induction into FCA’s chapter of Mu Alpha Theta, students must have a MATH GPA of 3.5 or above, have completed Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II and currently be enrolled in a higher level mathematics course.
