Superintendent Craig Carpenter previously served as Middle School and High School Principal (2006 -2013) and prior to his employment at FCA, he taught in Lancaster City Schools for six-years.  After college, he worked ten-years as an Operations Manager at a Fortune 500 company in Chicago, Illinois.

Mr. Carpenter obtained his graduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Ashland University and earned his bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University.  He and his wife, Shelly, have three children who attend FCA.  They reside in Lancaster and are members of Fairfield Christian Church.

Mr. Carpenter’s leadership, education and business experience have helped to bring about successful programs and curriculum changes and he has a clear vision for moving FCA forward.

At the forefront of his management style is using the wisdom found through the study of God's word and through seeking His will to handle challenges and opportunities. He believes in using all resources which are available to accomplish goals and solve problems and often reaches out to others to use their expertise for this purpose.

The families and students at Fairfield Christian Academy are blessed to have a Superintendent with a balanced heart for education and business.  His overall goal is to give God the glory for everything that occurs at FCA.
